Earth day is celebrated annually to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth’s natural environment. An easy way to take care of the Earth is to recycle old batteries instead of discarding them in the trash. If you discard batteries in a landfill, you contribute to heavy metals and toxic chemicals contaminating our soil and water.
In anticipation of Earth Day, April 22nd, an easy way to be “green” is to let Rapport, inc. recycle your batteries.
It’s easy! Just bring your old batteries in, drop them off, and we’ll do the rest.
Some benefits of battery recycling include:
- Ensures compliance with environmental laws
- Enables plastic and metal in batteries to be reclaimed and reused
- Saves landfill costs and natural resources
Rapport, inc. offers battery recycling as a customer benefit. Recycle your old batteries at no cost with the purchase of new, replacement batteries. If you’re not ready to purchase new batteries but need to recycle, we are always happy to take your recyclables for a small processing fee. Contact us for more information.
